AFTER a difficult few weeks for the Waders that featured two cup exits, the new-look side emerged for their first league fixture in three weeks.
Six new signings started the match, most of them strangers to their team-mates, so the first half was much to do with getting to know each other and keeping the scoreline blank.
Therw were not many chances for either side and creation was difficult on a very slippery surface. Charlie Pattison, on loan from MK Dons, was the pick of the bunch; his guile in midfield was exemplary.
