LEE CHILTON’S brace fired Evesham United to a well-earned 3-1 win over struggling Basingstoke Town to keep their bid for a BetVictor Southern South play-off spot on track.
The 34-year-old burst out of the blocks, providing the finishing touch to an impressive team move involving Harry Franklin, Jack Cresswell and Kai Tonge to get his name on the scoresheet with less than three minutes played.
