THE TURBINES recorded a narrow but thrilling victory over Barwell to climb up to second in the league, their highest ever league position.
It was actually Barwell who took the lead on six minutes, Sports skipper Richard Jones giving away a penalty which was coolly converted by his opposite number, Canaries captain Brady Hickey.
Sports were level on 27 minutes through a towering Paul Malone header from a corner and were 2-1 up not long afterwards after winning a penalty of their own when Maniche Sani was brought down in the area. The ever-reliab...
