SYPROS Mentis scored as ten-man Royston piled more misery on Alvechurch with a 1-0 win over the relegation threatended side.
Both sides came into the game after victories on New Years Day, Alvechurch defeating rivals Redditch United while Royston had beaten Lowestoft.
When these two sides met on the opening day Royston scored three goals from set pieces and nearly had a early goal from a corner, but Ben Martin headed wide.
