■ NORTH Leigh claimed the spoils in the first league meeting between the sides.
The visitors, who were only formed in 2006, made a strong start and were in front after nine minutes through Jonathan Edwards.
But the lead lasted only two minutes, with Roger James latching on to a ball down the wing and squaring for Lance Williams to tap in. The Millers were close to a second when Williams’ shot was well saved.
FC Romania had the ball in the net at the start of the second half but it was ruled out for offside.
