■ HARLOW Town kept their play-off ambitions motoring with a slim victory over Waltham Abbey at the Harlow Arena.
The home side went into the break with a two-goal lead as Alex Reid scored after a mistake from the visiting goalkeeper and Marcus Marks doubled the advantage.
Reid managed to grab a brace and a third goal for Harlow when he headed in Simon-Peter Pomona’s cross in the second half.
Waltham Abbey scored two late goals through Robert Clark and Klajdi Cani in an effort to grab a late draw but Harlow held on.
