■ HERTFORD pulled clear of the relegation zone and pushed neighbours Colney to the bottom with a late winner in a tight, feisty encounter.
The Blues took an early lead through Vlad Sighiartau, but the Magpies quickly struck back through Guerin Nimi.
Player-boss Ben Herd then converted a penalty after Obi Ogbonna was scythed down in the area to restore Hertford’s lead.
