■ THE first ever Southern League encounter between Larkhall and Plymouth Parkway ended in a narrow win for the visitors thanks to a looping 40-yard effort from William Palfrey.
An entertaining first half saw Parkway have most of the ball but few real chances were created.
Shaun Semmens in the home goal pulled off the save of the game to keep it 0-0 but a red card for Larks striker Brad Norris partway through the second half changed the game.
