■ THE opening exchanges were very even, with both sides applying pressure to their opponents’ defences.
Evesham created the first chance after seven minutes when Brandon Smalley’s shot was saved by Ryan Gosney.
The home side took the lead when a Lorcan Sheehan free-kick was headed home by Adam Pepera.
Their lead only lasted six minutes when the impressive Owen Roundell fired home an equaliser.
Evesham regained the lead through Smalley following a determined solo run.
