SHOLING came away from Thornhill Park with the points after taking greater advantage of the few chances.
The game was only five minutes old when a clearance from Sholing keeper Ryan Gosney was allowed to reach the Slimbridge box, and Lee Wort beat Toby Lawrence to the ball and lob Swans keeper Lewis Adams.
Dan Miller doubled the lead after 25 minutes, converting Sami Makhloufi’s free-kick.
Slimbridge pulled a goal back in the 67th minute when Ben McLean made room for himself on the edge of the box and drilled home.
