FROME Town scored two goals to edge a close contest with Bishop’s Cleeve.
In the opening period, the Frome wing-backs probed Cleeve’s defence with threatening crosses.
And it was from one of these attacks that Jono Davies pounced on a headed clearance and unleashed a volleyed shot to put Frome ahead.
The hosts had offered little in the first half, but the complexion of the fixture changed after the break.
The Mitres caused problems with arching balls behind the centre-backs, but in vain.
And substitute Ollis provided breathing spa...
