■ BERKHAMSTED remain top of the table but were made to work hard for the three points by Walthamstow.
They had plenty of first-half chances with Ryan Kinnane volleying over from an early Jonathan Lacey corner.
At the other end, a cracking shot from Dan Green whistled past the post for the visitors.
Midway through the half, Ryan Blake opened the scoring, finishing well with a shot after excellent work on the right by Tobi Coker.
Blake scored again in the second half with a diving header from a free-kick on the right. Walthamstow pulled one back...
