■ BOTH keepers, Mac Boyd and Josh Oak had impressive games, each making a number of goal-defying saves throughout the match.
Tavi started well and hit the bar via a jinking run from Joe O’Connor. Melksham took the lead in an even first half when marksman Ben Brooks nodded home from a corner.
Tavi remained dangerous and squared matters via O’Connor. As the pitch became heavy, Melksham began to exert pressure and were rewarded with a penalty when Alex Henshall was tripped. Sam Hendy stepped up but Oak saved the effort. Tavi were never...
