A WINTRY scene greeted the players, but Evesham warmed up quickly and had the better of the opening exchanges.
The more notable attacks fell to the visitors. But the balance of the game changed shortly before half-time when Evesham’s Alfie Dunn was sent off.
The second half began with Albie Hopkins hitting a post with a devilishly curling shot, before the home side took the lead with another special from the wide man.
Hopkins stepped up and curled a free-kick home just after the hour mark.
