A MUCH-NEEDED and well deserved victory for Westbury on a freezing. foggy afternoon.
United took the game to Bemerton from the off and fully deserved the opening goal on 15 when Ashton Shan- ley's corner was only partly punched away by Patrick Creese to Bevan Cross who produced a composed finish from the edge of the box. The defences had to be at the top of their games with numerous crosses and set pieces at both ends. When called upon, home keeper Jonny Hill saved impressively.
