■ LEIGHTON Town fol- last week’s 4-2 owed defeat to Enfield with shared points at the Freed Veneers Community Stadium.
The hosts intended to spark some fresh life into an admittedly slow start to the season, and it looked like they had done so when striker Lynton Goss put them ahead in the 25th minute, having already seen a shot tipped on to the post. However, there was no stopping this one as Goss chased a poor back pass and dispossessed the keeper to tap into an empty Ware net.
