BANBURY cemented top spot with victory over AFC Rushden & Diamonds at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium, to stretch their unbeaten run to nine games.
The three points pleased assistant-boss Craig Pead, who highlighted their mentality as the reason for their huge lead at the summit.
“It was a very tough game and we did not play to our highest standards, but we can always compete,” he said.
“But we always get away with a winning mentality. The squad are always ready to be winners.”
