Stamford face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form away against a tight Leamington defence on Saturday.
With 76 goals in 36 games, Stamford are the second-highest scorers in the Southern League Premier Central ahead of the 3pm kick-off at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium.
They face a Brakes side who have scored 55 in 37 matches, but conceded only 31 goals, putting them second among the league’s tightest defences – only Needham Market have conceded fewer goals.
Leamington are fifth in the table after 37 games, of which they have won 17 and drawn 13, earning 64 points.
Stamford are two places behind the Brakes in seventh, with 16 wins and 10 draws putting them on 58 points.
The home team are in reasonable form in the Southern League Premier Central, with three wins and two draws from their last six games.
With four wins and two losses over that period, the visitors’ form is slightly better – they have taken 12 points from 18, compared to Leamington’s 11.
Leamington’s last match was on April 6, a 1-0 loss against AFC Telford United.
