Hungerford Town face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form at home against a tight Gosport Borough defence on Tuesday.
With 60 goals in 31 games, Hungerford are the third-highest scorers in the Southern League Premier South ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off at Bulpit Lane.
They face a Gosport side who have scored 54 in 29 matches, but conceded only 30 goals, putting them top of the league’s tightest defences.
Gosport are third in the table after 29 games, of which they have won 16 and drawn seven, earning 55 points.
Hungerford are three places behind Borough in sixth, with 12 wins and 10 draws putting them on 46 points.
Town are in bad form in the Southern League Premier South, with one win and a draw from their last six games.
With two wins and two draws over that period, the away side’s form is better – they have taken eight points from 18, compared to the hosts’ four.
Hungerford’s last match was on Saturday, a 2-2 draw against Hendon.
Gosport drew 1-1 with Salisbury last time out, also on Saturday.
