Poole Town welcome Winchester City on late Tuesday looking to pick up points to end their six-game losing streak.
Poole’s struggles have left them with no points from their last six Southern League Premier – South matches, while their opponents have earned eight from a possible 18.
With 56 goals in 27 games so far this season, Poole are scoring more than average in the league with 2.1 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 47 goals at a rate of 1.7 per game.
Winchester, meanwhile, are below average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 1.7 goals per game.
In the last three years, Poole and Winchester have played each other on three occasions. Poole won two of them and Winchester one.
Their last meeting was on February 14 2023, when Poole won 1-0 at home.
Town are 13th in the table after 27 games, of which they have won 12 and drawn two, earning 38 points.
City are three places ahead of the hosts in 10th, with 10 wins and 10 draws putting them on 40 points.
Poole’s last match was on Saturday, a 1-0 loss against Basingstoke Town.
Winchester drew 1-1 with Hanwell Town last time out, also on Saturday.
