ENFIELD TOWN produced a three-goal blitz in eight second-half minutes to take advantage of Tooting’s man deficit for almost the entire second half.
The visitors began the first-ever meeting between the sides on top, with the impressive Sam Youngs narrowly off target twice.
Tooting’s Sandy Cunningham headed just over and Peter Wedgeworth’s free-kick was well saved by Town stopper Joe Wright.
Enfield opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Rob Bartley headed iYoungs’ free-kick.
