■MET POLICE recovered from the worst possible start to overcome Folkestone and register their second home win of the week.
The Kent visitors went ahead on three minutes when
Ian Draycott tapped home Jordan Wright’s looping far-post cross to give Invicta’s many travelling fans a reason to celebrate early on.
However, Invicta’s lead only lasted 10 minutes.
Tom Bird’s free-kick found centre-back Jay Gasson who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner; a finish of which any striker would have been proud.
