THURROCK staged a dramatic late comeback from three-one down to salvage a point with two goals in the last seven minutes of normal time in this six-goal, five-star thriller.
Both sides created chances in an even first half.
And Brightlingsea broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion in the 18th minute when Connor Hogan smashed a stunning free-kick into the top corner past Fleet keeper Jake Jessup.
Thurrock equalised ten minutes later when Remi Sutton’s throw found Dennis Oli who spun and scored.
