WORTHING’S first match at
Woodside Road after their pitch problems made up for lost time in thrilling fashion, with three late goals and two late penalties. Met Police had turned the game around with Lloyd
Macklin’s 86th-minute penalty and 89th-minute strike completing his hat-trick and putting the visitors 3-2 up.
But Kieron Pammant kept his cool from the spot after a handball, to grab Worthing’s third point of the season.
The visitors got off to a flying start on seven minutes when Ryan James flicked the ball on to Lloyd Macklin who slotted in.
