ASHFORD United and East Grinstead Town shared the spoils in a goal-lacking Bostik League South encounter at Homelands Stadium.
East Grinstead enjoyed the perfect start when Charlie Postance scored after five minutes played as Ashford’s defence was caught napping.
But the visitors’ lead lasted less than ten minutes, as Ashford pushed forward for an equaliser and were rewarded when Thomas Cooney drew his side level in the 16th minute.
