A SOLITARY goal was enough to secure Hastings United three points against Faversham Town.
Faversham had more of the possession and almost took the lead in the third minute when Liam King found himself clear.
The all-important goal came on 33 minutes when a long clearance fell to Sam Adams, who held off two challenges before firing past Simon Overland.
Faversham twice went close as they upped the pressure on their opponents but some determined defending saw Hastings take home the spoils.
