VCD stunned Faversham to take the lead but that was as good as it got as the hosts fought back.
Against the run of play, Ellis Brown’s sweet strike flew into Simon Overland’s net to earn the Vickers a half-time lead.
But a quickfire brace from Luke Griffiths turned the game for Town.
Three minutes from the restart, Griffiths was on hand to slot the loose ball in after a Dan Carrington shot was saved.
Soon after Griffiths drifted into the area and steered the ball past Joe Mant and into the far corner.
