LEWES bounced back from midweek defeat with an emphatic thrashing of Herne Bay.
Having taken a 12th-minute lead through Thomas Carlton, Bay kept Lewes at arm’s length until Billy Medlock levelled.
Bouwe Bosma put Lewes ahead after 56 minutes before substitute Jamie Brotherton added the third. Medlock chipped goalkeeper Benjamin Hunter and Brotherton converted a penalty, while Medlock sealed his hat-trick, with Ronnie Conlon and Wilfred Grimaud also scoring late on.
