AARON Hooton was the star of the show for Carlton Town as they took advantage of a below-par and disappointing Market Drayton Town.
The writing was on the wall early for the opposition as Hooton scored his first goal of the game after only 14 minutes.
As much as they tried to get back into the game, a combination of poor finishing and good defending meant Carlton went into the break a goal to the good.
