SKELMERSDALE United gained revenge for a recent FA Trophy defeat at Mossley by notching up their fourth consecutive league game without defeat.
Skelmersdale took the lead in the 18th minute thanks to top scorer Andy Owens, with his ninth league goal of the season.
They increased their lead on 31 minutes through Owens’ strike partner Callum Mahoney..
In the second half Mossley came out determined to get themselves back in the game and did so in the 50th minute with a goal from defender Caldon Henson.
