CHARLIE MACDONALD’S first-half brace helped Greenwich Borough confidently dispatch Ashford United.
Macdonald first lashed home a penalty after 13 minutes and then bagged his second 14 minutes later as lifted his shot home from the edge of the six-yard box.
Francis Babalola’s incisive effort five minutes into the second half put Borough in cruise control.
Ashford couldn’t live with Borough’s constant attacking threat and Tom Carlse converted from close range before Ali Fuseini flicked home the hosts’ fifth.
