■THREE second-half goals were needed to help Prescot Cables get beyond a difficult Scarborough Athletic.
After a goalless first period which can be best described as scrappy the game sprung to life in the second half. Cables took the lead in the 55th minute through Baba Conte who reacted quickest after Harry Cain had hit the post.
Parity was restored seconds after the restart courtesy of a composed Michael Coulson finish. Cables then retook the lead on 72 minutes through Jordan Southworth. The hosts were then in control as Josh Klein-Davies completed the scoring from a s...
