SKELMERSDALE United stretched their unbeaten league run to five games as two goals in the final quarter saw them ease past Ossett Town.
Coming into the game at opposite ends of the table, many would have thought the visitors the favourites to take all three points from Volair Park. Nathan Randell opened the scoring for the home side in the 22nd minute but there were no further goals in the opening period and United went into the break a goal to the good.
