SPALDING United fell to their fifth successive 2-1 defeat as Belper took all three points at home.
Belper started strongly and it took a fantastic double save by Michael Duggan to stop them from taking the lead.
But they did get the breakthrough on 37 minutes when Kieran O’Connell finished from inside the box.
A second arrived five minutes after half-time as, despite the visitors’ best efforts to clear it off the line, Alex Steadman’s effort found the net.
