POTTERS Bar scored three times from corners to comprehensively beat Canvey Island.
The Scholars took the lead on 29 minutes. Michael Murray swung the ball in and found the head of Eoin Casey eight yards from goal.
It was 2-0 in similar circumstances three minutes later as the Gulls failed to cope with the quality of the set-pieces. This time Murray’s ball to near post found former Gull Lee O’Leary who scored with a glancing header.
The points were sealed six minutes from time when Steve Brown volleyed home
