WARD PETERS OUT

ROB Ward has been sacked as manager of Peterborough Northern Star after just four months at the helm.
Ward was given his marching orders after Star were crushed 6-0 at Cogenhoe United in the United Counties Premier Division last Saturday.
He had joined the club in the summer from Peterborough Premier Division side Ketton.
His departure followed that of assistant boss Steve Wilson two weeks before.
Director of football Raff Mazzarella, who ran the side before Ward’s appointment, is back in charge on a caretaker basis while a permanent successor is sought
