MARGATE battled to a narrow victory in an enthralling game at Hartsdown Park, thanks to two goals in 12 second-half minutes.
The Blues made the livelier start and made that show on the scoreboard in the 15th minute when star man Frannie Collin finished off a great team move.
However, their well-earned lead lasted only another 15 minutes.
Hendon’s Josh Walker found space in the penalty box to poke the ball home past the Gate keeper Patrick Lee.
