LEISTON kept in touch with the top five when two firsthalf goals separated two lively sides in Suffolk.
Kingstonian could have taken the lead in the first minute but Daniel Ajakaiye hit the foot of Leiston keeper Marcus Garnham’s left-hand post.
Leiston’s first chance came when Jack Ainsley laid the ball off for Christy Finch but his side-footed strike was saved by Ks custodian Rob Tolfrey.
Another well worked move moments later set up Seb Dunbar but he fired straight at Tolfrey before Finch sent an effort wide.
