PAIR FACE RAP AFTER CUP BRAWL

RUGBY TOWN and Coventry Copsewood have both been kicked out of their league’s cup following a mass brawl.
The expulsion followed an investigation by the Midland League into the Polymac Packaging League Cup round two clash on October 24.
Hosts Rugby were winning 1-0 when a late tackle from Copsewood defender George Whitelaw on Ben Ashby sparked off a series of scuffles. The incident led to police being called to the Butlin Road ground.
Players from both sides and members of the Copsewood dugout became embroiled.
