HENDON consolidated their play-off hopes thanks to a twogoal burst in three minutes midway through the second half.
The Greens took the lead on 10 minutes when neat footwork from Niko Muir set up Keagan Cole who scored from close range.
Brightlingsea levelled on 27 minutes, Billy Hunt powering forward and unleashing a 25- yard screamer that gave Greens’ keeper Tom Lovelock no chance.
After half-time the Rs’ Jake Turner fired narrowly wide on the only occasion Hendon’s outstanding defender Arthur Lee was beaten.
