ARLESEY’S lack of penetration in front of goal once again reared its ugly head as they were held to a frustrating goalless draw at New Lamb Meadow at the hands of Fleet Town.
This was the third game in a row in which they were unable to find the back of the net against bottom-half opposition, though the scoreline was perhaps not a fair reflection on the game.
Both teams had plenty of chances in each half, but it wasn’t enough for Arlesey to move off the bottom, with just one win so far this entire season.
