ZACK Newton continued his fine form since his recent return to Worthing as he scored and claimed an assist in his side’s latest victory.
The Mackerel Men deservedly took the lead in the 17th minute when Joe Clarke played in Newton, who slotted past Folkestone keeper Tim Roberts.
Newton nearly scored a second on the half-hour mark when he raced on to Lucas Covolan’s long kick but failed to get a clean contact with the ball on his weaker left foot.
