LEWES regained top spot following a tight game against play-off contenders Greenwich Borough at the Dripping Pan.
Greenwich went behind in the third minute when a defensive mix-up between keeper Michael McEntegart and Danny Fitzsimons allowed Charlie Coppola to steal in and shoot into an empty net.
Borough worked hard but had little to show for it, apart from efforts from Travis Gregory and Callum McGeehan.
Rooks skipper Lloyd Cotton capped his own commanding display with a powerful header from a corner with nine minutes left to seal the win.
