■ LEISTON took the points and completed a league double over Tooting in the process after a workmanlike showing.
The Terrors had the first chance in the 12th minute when Chase O’Neill went on a jinking run and his fierce shot was well saved by Leiston keeper Marcus Garnham.
Leiston replied with an effort from Darren Mills but Tooting keeper Matte Pierson made a fine save and the visitors also clipped the bar through Patrick Brothers.
In the 33rd minute United went close to taking the lead with a good strike from Danny Bassett but the keeper made a good stop.
