CURRAN’S CLASS IS CRITICAL

COLNE came out on top 3-1 in a War of the Roses against Brighouse Town thanks to two high-quality first-half goals by their young stars.
Alex Curran headed in the opener after 15 minutes and Ollie Crankshaw doubled Colne’s lead just four minutes later.
In the second half, Curran was brought down for a penalty and although his spot-kick was well-saved by Brighouse goalkeeper George Clarke, the former Blackburn starlet followed up to notch his second goal.
