HENDON stay fourth after a stoppage-time goal won this seven-goal thriller.
Things seemed easy for the Greens when Niko Muir converted a fifth minute penalty following a foul on Jake Eggleton and Zak Joseph had made it 2-0 on 15 minutes, after sloppy defensive play.
But the Rebels were back in it a minute later as Reece Myles- Meekums fired into the bottom corner.
Hendon continued to take advantage of Worthing ‘s inability to clear their lines and George Bentley produced a brilliant save to tip a Josh Walker shot against the bar before half-time.
