BISHOP’S Cleeve’s great escape attempt failed to materialise.
Needing three points, they looked the livelier of the two sides in the early stages with Jack Watts having three efforts saved by keeper Harvey Rivers. Yate hit back to take the lead three minutes before the break, midfielder Nick Peare looping a header into the far corner when Cleeve had half-cleared Ben Brooks’ corner.
