TRAFFORD clinched a play-off spot with a dominant second-half performance against a spirited and determined Kendal side.
After Mark Derbyshire had given them the lead in the sixth minute, the hosts laboured for the remainder of the first half.
Manager Tom Baker made two tactical substitutions, introducing Chris Palmer and Jack Dorney to bolster his midfield, and they were far more dominant in the second period, centre-back Paul Linwood doubling their lead with a back post header in the 55th minute.
