LEON Mettam scored a late goal to hand Spalding United their first away win of the season against nineman Gresley.
Mettam struck ten minutes from time to move Chris Rawlinson’s side three points clear of the Division One East relegation zone, but the home side were left furious over some of the officiating decisions at the Moat Ground.
Dexter Morris-Clarke was dismissed in the first half for a rash challenge and then Gresley were reduced to nine in stoppage time when Dom Allen was sent off for protesting.
