MID-TABLE Widnes ended their debut East Division campaign with a 3-1 win over second-bottom Kendal Town.
The home side’s co-boss Kev Towey criticised his side’s application after the game in which Widnes rarely reached second gear against a Kendal side lacking any meaningful quality.
